Blog #7
I have enjoyed using Twitter in the classroom setting. I have learned how to communicate better with my classmates and teachers. People post interesting material every day on the app that helps me further my education. Also, a huge benefit of using Twitter is following education accounts. They post daily about events, apps, and websites that are geared towards teaching and how to help others learn.
The web design assignment taught me a lot about creating a website for my class. I like that you can set up a website for your class without a lot of hoops to go through. This gives the students easy access to communicate with the teacher and stay updated. The teacher can assign homework and questions from the website and even display grades. I learned how to ask a whole class a question and how to assign homework from this assignment.

Assistive and adaptive technologies are very interesting to me. I am not sure which one would be better for the student, but I am sure it is different for everyone. Personally, I like adaptive technology better because it allows the student to be more independent. I do not know of anyone who uses either Assistive or adaptive technologies. One challenge of being able to use this technology in a class setting would be the cost of the material.
