Brett Geric Blog 2
I started using Microsoft Word when I was in sixth grade. I do not remember the first thing I ever wrote on Microsoft Word, but I remember my teacher helping me understand the program. Now, I use Microsoft Word every week to write essays for class and to complete other assignments. My teachers also use this program to write out assignments for the students to read.
For as long as I have been in school, there has been programs to catch students who plagiarizer their assignments. Students will turn in assignments that are filled with other people's words because they want to take the easy way out, but end up receiving an F because the teacher can simply place the assignment into "www.turnitin.com." This is one of the many programs people have made to catch people plagiarizing. If I was a teacher, I would use this program because students need to learn that they can not steal what someone else has already said.
To prevent copyright theft, I would have every teacher to run their students assignments through www.turnitin.com. This will help protect other's words and what they have said. I am not sure if there is a full-proof way to end cyber bulling, especially with all of the technology in today's society. If I had to stop cyber bullying I would have the kid being hurt by the bully show me how they are being bullied and then follow up on the situation by talking to the bully and their parents. If there was a digital divide in my classroom, I would raise funds for the children without the equipment so they can have an equal opportunity at completing the assignments and getting used to the technology.

I like your fundraising idea and this is a good way to create equal opportunity, but the question is what if the fundraising does not work?
